Mental Health First Aid
The eAMHFA Wales course teaches adults how to provide Mental Health First Aid to friends, families and co-workers.
Mental Health First Aid is the help provided to a person who is developing a mental health problem, experiencing a worsening of an existing mental health problem, or in a mental health crisis. The first aid is given until the appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves.

There are compulsory interactive modules to be completed prior to your first webinar and another set in between your first and second webinar. Each set of modules will take around 2-3 hours to complete, depending on individual learner pace and each 3 hour webinar must be attended live in order to gain certification. Participants will gain access to the modules 2 weeks prior to their first webinar.
The course is delivered on line through a planned set schedule of interactive modules and online webinars. Courses must be attended in full so please check that you are available for all dates before committing.
