If you have a vacancy within General Practice there are a few places you can advertise it.
GP Wales
This is a free website to advertise job vacancies in your GP Practice
NHS Wales Shared Service Partnership (NWSSP) in partnership with GPWales and Welsh Government have developed an intuitive and streamlined website for GP Practices in Wales to advertise and manage job vacancies for free.
Benefits of the GPWales Advertising Site:
- A website designed by GPs for GPs
- Simplified process for posting GP Practice vacancies
- All vacancies advertised via GPWales will be simultaneously posted to NHS Jobs to reach a wider audience
- Vacancy information will feed the GP Streamlining programme.
- Visibility of vacancies to support quicker multidisciplinary appointments across practices and clusters
- Support package for user and technical queries
What is the same?
- Primary care advertising service still managed free of charge by NWSSP Employment Services
- Vacancies are still posted to NHS Jobs – allowing applications to continue to be managed via NHS Jobs (shortlisting/arrange interview)
What is different?
- All advert requests must be submitted via GPWales website i.e. no longer required to complete and email the NWSSP GP Advert Request form Vacancies will be advertised on both GP Wales and NHS Jobs
